Lexus Malaysia <\/strong>has started teasing a mysterious new SUV on its social media channels, and all signs point toward the arrival of the brand\u2019s flagship luxury off-roader \u2014 the Lexus LX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though the teaser only reveals part of the vehicle\u2019s silhouette, the signature rear lighting design and rising shoulder line strongly match the latest LX. If confirmed, it would become the most premium SUV in Lexus Malaysia\u2019s lineup, sitting above the recently introduced Lexus GX.<\/p>\n\n\n

Underneath its luxury-focused styling, the LX shares serious off-road roots with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. Built on Toyota\u2019s GA-F body-on-frame platform, the SUV combines rugged durability with high-end refinement, giving buyers a vehicle equally capable of handling city roads, highway cruising, or extreme terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dimension-wise, the LX is a massive SUV by Malaysian standards, measuring around 5.1 metres long with a 2,850 mm wheelbase. That makes it slightly larger than the GX while offering a far more commanding road presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Globally, the standard LX600 uses a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine producing 409 hp and 650 Nm, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive system. Lexus also introduced the electrified Lexus LX700h hybrid variant recently, combining the same V6 engine with an electric motor for a total output of 457 hp and 790 Nm depending on market specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n

Despite its luxury positioning, the LX still carries genuine off-road capability. Features such as Multi-Terrain Select, crawl control, adaptive suspension, and Active Height Control allow the SUV to tackle rough terrain while maintaining impressive comfort levels. Lexus also claims the SUV retains the Land Cruiser\u2019s strong water-wading ability and high durability standards.<\/p>\n\n\n

Inside, the cabin blends modern technology with traditional Lexus craftsmanship. A dual-screen setup dominates the dashboard, featuring a 12.3-inch infotainment display alongside a secondary lower touchscreen handling climate and off-road functions. Premium materials, ambient lighting, and advanced driver assistance systems further reinforce its flagship status.<\/p>\n\n\n

The standard version offers three-row seating, but the real headline is the Ultra Luxury configuration available in selected markets. Instead of seven seats, this version transforms the LX into a four-seat executive lounge with reclining rear captain chairs, a powered ottoman, massage functions, and limousine-style legroom inspired by the Lexus LS luxury sedan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audiophiles are also well catered for, thanks to an available 25-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system \u2014 currently one of the most advanced audio setups offered in any Lexus vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pricing has yet to be confirmed for Malaysia, but expectations are high that the LX will sit comfortably above the GX\u2019s RM780,000 to RM830,000<\/strong> range. Given Lexus Malaysia\u2019s teaser strategy, an official launch may happen sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If launched locally, the Lexus LX would enter Malaysia as one of the most luxurious full-size SUVs available, targeting buyers who want the toughness of a Land Cruiser without giving up executive-level comfort and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n
